HAWC takes pride in building sustainable and continued relationships with existing and new corporations throughout the North Shore and Boston communities.
By far the most impactful gift a corporation can provide is a financial donation. Supporting HAWC demonstrates to the community that your company believes in building healthier communities. The organization accepts and encourages corporate unrestricted financial support through special event annual sponsorship programs, third-party fundraisers, employee giving campaign participation, or simply an unrestricted annual contribution. All non-benefited financial contributions are tax deductible as permitted by law.
In Kind Giving
Another form of corporate support can include gifts-in-kind such as: works of art, items that can be used for annual auctions, gift cards to area super markets or stores, gift cards, and household items.
Gifts of Time
Gifts of time involve corporate groups that wish to volunteer of their time and efforts toward a specific area of need. Ideas for participation include: office painting and capital project support, grounds work in shelter or office location, legal support services time, WALK event or Breakfast event volunteers.
Match your Employees’ Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs, in which the company makes a 1:1, 2:1 or even 3:1 match for any donations made by your employees to HAWC, essentially multiplying your employee’s contribution.
Some organizations also encourage their colleagues to donate a portion of their paycheck to a nonprofit organization. By offering this type of program and making HAWC the beneficiary, both you and your company’s employees are giving back to a great agency.
