Jillian Nebesar
Director of Programs & Community Partnerships
Jillian joined HAWC in February 2020 after over ten years of experience in the field of social work, working with children and families through trauma, as well as in residential and clinical care. Jillian is responsible for strengthening HAWC’s partnership within the community while further developing our programs and services to best meet the needs of survivors of domestic abuse. Jillian hopes to strengthen and expand HAWC programming to better serve survivors by advocating for important change to inequities. Jillian is committed to working to dismantle the barriers survivors face and ensuring that survivors have meaningful access to the resources they need to heal and find stability. Jillian received an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an Advanced Studies Certificate in Trauma Counseling from Lesley University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
